How do I play?
Sign in (registration is free), set a nickname in your profile, then choose 1, X or 2 for each match of your league’s round (hockey: the winner including overtime). You can add an exact score. A pick can be changed until kick-off. Two hours before a round’s first match we send a reminder if you have not made your picks (turn it on in your profile, under “Notifications”).
Which leagues are there?
Football: “Europe’s top leagues” (Premier League, Champions League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Europa League), “Brasileirão” (the Brazilian league and the top European leagues) and “Argentina and the top leagues” (the Argentine league, LaLiga, Champions League, Premier League, Serie A). You play in one football league. Until you make a football pick in a month, you can change it at once, as often as you like; after the first pick — only from the next month (in your profile). The hockey leagues, KHL and NHL, are separate: you can play them besides your football league. Every league has a round of 10 matches each week.
How are points counted?
One point for the right outcome and one more for the exact score: football — the score after 90 minutes, hockey — the final score including overtime and shootout. The model plays by the same rules: it takes its most likely outcome and the score shown in the match list. From the November 2026 season there is a bold bonus: +1 point when you get the outcome right and the model got it wrong. The bonus counts in the tables, while the rank and the prize condition (beating the model) leave it out, so the comparison with the model stays fair.
What is a season?
A season is a calendar month: the rounds that start on the Mondays of that month (4 or 5 rounds; the last one is played out in the next month). The rounds’ points add up, and the season’s table decides the prizes and the divisions.
What is the “Season 2026/27” table?
All the league’s rounds of the football season added up, from 1 August to 31 July. Next to it: the season (month), this round and all rounds.
What are divisions?
A league’s players are split into divisions of 20: each division has its own table and its own prizes. Until the league has 40 players there is one table for everyone; then, after a season, the best 20 make Division 1, the next ones Division 2, and so on. After every season the best three of a division go up and the worst three go down. If you answer none of a season’s matches, you leave the divisions; coming back, you start in the bottom one, like newcomers.
What are the prizes?
Premium days for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the season — in every division of every league, as in the table below. The days are added to your Premium after the last round of the month. A confirmed e-mail is needed. From the November 2026 season, a prize goes only to a player who scored more than the model on the same matches they answered (without the bold bonus): if a player in a prize place did not beat the model (say, by copying its picks from the site), the prize passes to the next player who did.
| Division | Players in the division’s table | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| 20+ | 10–19 | 7–9 | |
| 1 | 21 · 14 · 12 | 14 · 12 | 12 |
| 2 | 10 · 7 | 10 · 7 | 7 |
| 3 | 4 | 4 | 4 |
| 4 | 3 | 3 | 3 |
| 5 and below | 2 | 2 | 2 |
Premium days for 1st · 2nd · 3rd place. Fewer than 7 players — no prizes.
Who ranks higher on equal points?
More right outcomes, then more exact scores, then the smaller error in goals over your answers (an answer without a score counts as 6 goals off; matches you did not answer do not count), then more bold hits — right where the model was wrong — then whoever made the last change earlier.
Who is the best player of the round?
The top of the round’s table in their league. They get the “Best player of the round” badge.
Who is the player of the month?
The player who beat the model by the most over a month on the same matches, in all leagues together: at least 20 answers that count, points without the bold bonus. They get 7 days of Premium and the “Player of the month” badge. The first one is for October 2026; a month is settled once its seasons are settled in every league.
What is the rank?
The rank shows how well you guess compared with the model on the same matches, over your last 60 answers. It appears after 30 answers and can fall. From the lowest: Rookie, Amateur, Analyst (on par with the model), Expert (a little better than the model), Master (clearly better than the model) and Grandmaster — a Master among the three best players of the site.
Which badges are there?
First pick; 100 picks; Called the upset — right where the model gave under 25%; Three in a row — beat the model in three rounds of a league in a row; Best player of the round; Season prize winner; The whole season — an answer in every round of a season; Top division — a season in Division 1; Player of the month; Brought a friend — a friend who registered with the link from your profile made a first pick or solved a puzzle of the day. They stand next to the nickname in the table and are listed in the profile.
How do I play with friends?
In “Leagues with friends” below, create your own league — a name and a game league (say, “Europe’s top leagues” or the KHL) — and send your friends the link. Its table has only the members and the model, with the same points as the main table. You can create up to 10 leagues of up to 50 members each. The creator can rename the league, remove a member, make a new link (the old one stops working) or delete the league; if the creator leaves or deletes the account, the league passes to the member who joined first.
Is there money involved?
No. Taking part is free, there are no stakes or payments; the prizes are only Premium days on this site.
The model’s pick for a match is revealed at kick-off. Its probabilities are on the match pages anyway — the trick is to know when it is wrong.
